Hand-tied wefts and hybrid wefts typically last 6-12 months – but their true longevity is completely dependent on consistent, proper home care. Using only my recommended products and following your daily maintenance routine is the secret to making the most of your investment.

CARE FOR YOUR DREAM HAIR
DAILY
- Brush gently 3-4 times a day, starting from the ends and working your way up. Always section your rows and brush over the tops of the wefts to prevent tangling and matting.
- After shampooing, we recommend blow drying your wefts thoroughly, focusing on the base where your extensions are attached. This helps maintain a healthy scalp environment, prevents moisture from weakening the wefts, and keeps your rows feeling secure.
- Sleep with your hair in a low braid, two loose braids or secured with a silk scrunchie. A silk or satin pillowcase is a must.
- Apply a stylist approved serum daily to nourish your hair and maintain softness and shine.
- Use a mineral based sunscreen to protect your extensions from UV damage and to prevent discoloration.
WEEKLY
- Deep condition with a stylist approved moisture mask weekly for intense hydration of your wefts.
- During shampoos, make sure to cleanse and exfoliate your scalp beneath and between your wefts. Don’t be afraid to get in there – a clean scalp is key for healthy, long lasting extensions.
WHAT TO AVOID
- Never sleep with wet hair
- Never skip your daily brushing routine
- Avoid sleeping with your hair loose or in a high ponytail – it stresses the wefts, your scalp and shortens their life.

While your wefts are fully reusable, we’ll need to reinstall them during each visit to maintain a flawless, comfortable fit. We even offer natural wave options that allow for beautiful, effortless air drying. Your extensions are designed to move, feel, and style as naturally as your own hair, giving you complete freedom to express yourself every day.
What can I expect during my consultation?
At the consultation, you’ll receive a personalized price breakdown based on your specific hair needs, goals, and the number of wefts required. Because each extension experience is completely custom, exact pricing can only be provided after a full in-person assessment. (While we offer general price ranges online, your consultation ensures you have a clear, customized beauty investment plan prior to booking.) At the end of the consultation, we’ll collect a deposit to secure your reservation. If you’d also like to enhance or refresh your hair color before your install, we can schedule a color appointment at the same time. Behind the scenes, I’ll personally custom color your wefts and prepare every detail for your transformation – so when you arrive for your installation, everything is ready and curated for you.
